My first series is complete! It was a terrifying experience to write this book because I'd never attempted a series before this and I had no clue how to tie everything up at the end. I was thrilled to watch everything come together line by line and when it was finished, I was reasonably happy. It was only after the book went through my beta readers that I realized it needed one more chapter-- a moment of closure for one relationship in particular.  It ended up being my favorite chapter from any of the books. Needless to say, I'm very happy with it and look forward to laying this series to rest while I tackle a new one. My beautiful baby! I'm so happy that Kindom Soul is finally being released to the public. I felt a tremendous amount of pressure when writing this. With Kingdom Cold, I just wrote for fun. No one had any expectations for it. I was extremely unknown and had no expectations going in. But with Kingdom Soul, I hadn't planned a sequel, I'd never written a sequel before, and I felt this sudden pressure not to disappoint the people who had vested interests in the characters and story. Along the way, I realized that the opinion that mattered most was my own. Am I proud of it? Do I like how it turned out? The truth is, I am and I do. I see an obvious improvement as far as technical skill and storytelling go, though I couldn't tell you which book I prefer as they are VASTLY different in both style and tone.
