Cowriting this was a joy. We each took a character and wrote a chapter before passing it back. I remember being so excited to jump in and read Charlee's newest chapter. We'd discuss the basics of how we wanted the story to go, but a lot of it came as a surprise as we went. There were two imaginations involved--two wells of inspiration that we swam in and this book was the result. It only really took us about two weeks to write because we were so excited. Editing was much more difficult. Partially because every edit had to be checked with the other person and partially because there was a long gap between us finishing the first draft and editing, so we lost a bit of enthusiasm. What makes this story special is that it sparkles with the chemistry that me and Charlee share. Our friendship dazzles from every character interaction because that's how we wrote it.
