My beautiful baby! I'm so happy that Kindom Soul is finally being released to the public. I felt a tremendous amount of pressure when writing this. With Kingdom Cold, I just wrote for fun. No one had any expectations for it. I was extremely unknown and had no expectations going in. But with Kingdom Soul, I hadn't planned a sequel, I'd never written a sequel before, and I felt this sudden pressure not to disappoint the people who had vested interests in the characters and story. Along the way, I realized that the opinion that mattered most was my own. Am I proud of it? Do I like how it turned out? The truth is, I am and I do. I see an obvious improvement as far as technical skill and storytelling go, though I couldn't tell you which book I prefer as they are VASTLY different in both style and tone.
