Kingdom Soul

The second book in Brittni Chenelle's Kingdom Cold Series.

With even more twists, intrigue, and swoon-worthy romance, this sparkling sequel to Kingdom Cold will captivate readers who loved C.J. Redwine's Defiance, or Kiera Cass's Selection

Besmium has been reduced to rubble, and sinister Camelot reigns supreme. Abandoned by Minseo, brother of the fallen king, widowed Charlotte's path is perilous. New to life beyond her walls, she's forced to face the winter and motherhood alone, while being hunted by a soldier whose life's goal depends on her capture.

When whispers reach Minseo that Queen Charlotte survived, he decides to leave his drunken shame behind and seek his lost love. He knows finding her won't be terribly difficult but protecting both her and daughter Morgana is a different errand—one requiring more than time's power to heal.

Beyond the landscape of lies and treachery, Charlotte will need to navigate her feelings wisely. Can Minseo be trusted with the ultimate secret? Wherever young Morgana goes, a trail of ash is left behind, in consequence of something sought by sorcerers and mortal fiends...united, closing in.

Two fates present in seeking redemption: win her love or lose his soul. One must emerge.

Writing POC: The 5 Major Obstacles You'll Face

When I first became an author, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to represent the African American community the way I'd always wanted to be represented growing up, but in the two years I've been publishing my enthusiasm has waned.  As a teenager, I craved books with Black protagonists--books about magic, romance, and adventure. Unfortunately, the only books with Black protagonists I ever came across back then were about slavery and discrimination. Those books have great value but do little for escapism, especially for a Black teen in rural New Hampshire.  I entered the industry of self-publishing two years ago and I've been lucky to find more success than most new authors. I even managed to land on the USA Today bestseller's list. I dove into the writing community and began networking with successful indie authors and over the course of two years, I've uncovered a slew of obstacles that keep Black characters out of the spotlight.  1. The Fae & The Fallen

Hi everyone, I'm back at it with a brand new series. We all know that academy books are extremely popular right now, but that's not why I started this series. It's actually the opposite. I wrote this because I was bored to death with the academy books I was reading. I wanted something that felt new. I wanted to create something that stayed true to my style and unique point of view. I want characters who are internally both good and evil. I want romance and intrigue instead of the architecture of the school. I want lasting consequences and moral conundrums. I want life lessons, idols, and danger. I want school dances, first loves, and superheroes. So I created The Fae & The Fallen because I care more about what happened with that guy than what your class schedule says.  Join me on this quest to reinvent the academy. Gifted Fae Academy

It's official I've written 2 complete series! I have to say I'm very proud of this one and not because it made me profitable... well... mostly. The audiobooks for this series are AMAZINGGG. The books are good. The audio is great. Something about having two voice actors brings it to life. The actors have so much chemistry listening to the more **ahem** intimate scenes made me blush... hard. It's hilarious because the words came from my head, but to actually hear a guy read them... it's a really strange experience. I HIGHLY recommend you check it out and if it's out of your budget, send me a message and I'll see if I have any codes left.
